Hiking in an Oasis in the Desert

From COP 2'600'000

4 days immersed in the Wayuu territory
From walking across vast deserts to breathing the fresh air of the cloud forest in the heart of Macuira, you will experience an 8-hour hike through this oasis in the desert. This journey will allow you to learn and deeply understand our ancient culture, our history, and our customs. You will discover where our souls go after leaving mma' (Earth), learn about our closest allies in health – traditional medicinal plants – and visit the place where, according to our mythology, the fourth Wayuu generation was born. You will feel the magic of watching the sunset from the northernmost point of South America, where sunsets look like scenes from a movie.
The Wayuu territory awaits you.
